Fallout 4 Minutemen reimagined
Fallout 4 Minutemen Reimagined We all know the Minutemen are the default “good guys” of Fallout 4. They are the ones that help settlements and rescue people of all kinds. Preston serves as the all around idealized follower and spokesmen for them. But what if they were a little more complex? What if the Minutemen were still trying to help the commonwealth but the members all had different ideas on what would actually help? Part 1: Preston Garvey Preston Garvey is your earliest potential follower in the game. He seems to push the settlement mechanics with constantly sending you to save your settlements and recruit new ones. As you get to know him you learn his whole life had revolved around the minutemen more or less and contemplated suicide before he met you. This feels too one note and doesn’t give Preston a good character arc. Make Preston still somewhat idealistic but more bitter or angry. He had just lost a lot of friends and fellow soldiers in Quincy and numerous

Animaniacs reboot editorial
No doubt you are all aware of the Animaniacs reboot coming in November. While I am glad that the show is making a return and many of the voice actors are returning and Spielberg is working to make certain it is as good as the original there is one thing that bothers me. The characters of Hello Nurse and Minerva Mink are not returning no doubt to efforts from Hulu or Warner Brothers to me more “progressive”. While I understand these characters were risque both then and now, removing them feels counterproductive. That sends a message of; “You are a very attractive woman that easily win the affection of a male. Therefore you are offensive. Women should not be attractive, they should not be appealing to men.” What would be a better way to handle this? Try something new with these characters. For instance, Hello Nurse was stated to be incredibly talented, brilliant and succesful in the song of the same name. Why don't you use that? How funny would it be to see Hello Nurse use her numerous

Spike at you service (alt version) Part 1
Twilight Sparkle was setting up an experiment in her room, moving numerous beakers, tubes and other equipment with her magic and Spike making sure to keep track of everything on a list. Twilight finished setting up and turned to Spike.
"Is everything here Spike?"
Spike looked through the list, making sure he had everything.
"Yep! All set to get started!"
"Good. Now while I'm working, I want you to take care of these things."
Twilight set to her work as a list of items floated to Spike. Spike looked over the complicated items and equipment Twilight was using.
"You sure you don't want me here Twilight?"
"Don't worry Spike. Most of this c

Spike had settled into his new life after a little over a week in Canterlot. He was trying to enjoy his time there, but it still hurt fiercely remembering his friends and Twilight's recent death. He was walking through the Canterlot market with Cadance. She had decided to take the day off to spend time with him. She did have responsibilities, but thankfully not as much as Celestia and Luna so she was able to watch over him more. Cadance did not like leaving him in the care of a stranger. They had spent the day mostly talking, Cadance cuddling him when he started crying. Spike h

Author's note:
This story is set without season 3 canon. It is based on the idea of Twilight never becoming an alicorn and of all alicorns and dragons being immortal.

Celestia was sitting on her throne, staring at nothing, lost in her thoughts over the events of the past few days. Days seemed to stretch for longer and longer. Nothing seemed the same anymore. She took a deep breath. So many loved ones taken from her. Twilight and her friends, her nephew-in-law...all taken by the grasp of time. She'd watched them all grow and become amazing people. Saw them laugh, cry, learn and bring

Ponyvile-Twilight's library-morning
Twilight is gathering items, preparing for a day out when Spike groggily walks down stairs, having just woken up.
SPIKE: Twilight....wha....
TS: Spike, I'd like for you to stay home today. Try to get some rest.
SPIKE: Wait, really?
TS: I want you to clear your head and avoid anymore embarrassment.
SPIKE: Are you sure? You really don't need my help?
Twilight gave him a big hug which he happily returned.
TS: Don't worry about me, you just worry about yourself today. I'll be back around noontime. I'll make us a nice lunch so we can talk, okay.
SPIKE: Ok

Ponyville-Twilight's library-early morning
Twilight Sparkle rose bright and early prepared to tackle a new day. She used her magic to pull Spike from his little bed making him groan.
SPIKE: 5 more minutes....
Twilight just shook her head.
TS: C'mon Spike.
He groggily made his way downstairs as Twilght prepared a simple oatmeal for both of them. Spike struggled to keep his eyes open.
TS: If you had come home on time, you wouldn't be so tired.
Spike grumbled at her as he started to eat.
TS: How was Sugarcube corner?
Spike blushed a little and answered nervously.
SPIKE: It was...nice. We s

Ponyville-Twilight's library-late afternoon
We see Twilight Sparkle in her usual routine of organization.
TS: -and the encyclopedia of arcane items goes here, and.....done. You get that Spike?
Spike: Yep!
Twilight's assistant, Spike, quickly checks off an item from a comically long list.
TS: That takes care of the last new volumes to add to the library.
Spike(excited): So are we all done for the day?
Twilight looked at Spike bouncing hopefully, feeling slightly worried for her assistant, knowing exactly what he intended to do with free time.
TS(resigned): Yes Spike, we're done.

Lucasarts: My thoughts and the future of Lucasfilm games.
By Timothy Bettencourt
For those unaware, Disney recently decided to shut down Lucasarts, the division of Lucasfilm responsible for development and publishing video game licenses for Lucasfilm. I am saddened to see this turn of events, I am not surprised. Lucasarts has only had three big game releases over the past few years; The Force Unleashed 1 and 2 and Star Wars Kinect. I doubt I need to tell you about how these games turned out. Because of the company's lack of success, Disney decided to cut costs rather than take a risk on the ailing company. Now when we inevitably see new Star

Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Improvements

I have been a fan of Bioware since Knights of the Old Republic. I have found allof their games to be very fun and Mass Effect 3 is no exception. The muliplayer in particular I have found to be a very fun experience. However, I feel that some aspects need to be worked on if Bioware intends to make all their games multiplayer supported. Here is what I feel needs to be reworked.
1. In game economy
There are only three chances to earn credits during a match, the special operations. What's worse is when you finally have enough credits, you have to have random weapon item and character
