Jennifer's body:
Seeing this movie, I must ask one question; How many dicks did Diablo cody have to suck to get her Academy Award? If you take that number and multiply it by Megan Fox's age, you'll get the number of dicks she had to suck to get a movie career. And that's all this film really does. the story is dumb, tha acting is terrible, the effects are laughable at the best of times, it tries to be funny and scary at the same time, falling flat on it's ass while doing so, and worst of all, IT'S F^&*ING TWILIGHT FOR GUYS!!! My advice, pass this one up.

Zombieland:
When I went to this one, I was a bit skeptical, a side affect from Jennifer's body. I figured that any horror film that tried to scare me and make me laugh would fail. However, I saw a bum review which said the film was "Friggin hilarious". So I figured I'd take a look. And overall, I was very impressed! The actors are all very talented, the story is solid, there were tons of great jokes and even exciting if not scary moments, Hell, they even had a geniuine sorrowful moment. I won;t ruin it for those who haven't seen it, but it is worth looking at.

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs:
When I saw posters for this film I thought "This is gonna be the dumbest movie ever! I mean, rainging meatballs? What drug induced chimp thought that up?" But I decided to see this film for it's sheer stupidity, and I was actually surprised. For such a silly idea, it did give a solid effort at making an entertaining movie. While some of the characters are extremely quirky and some things don't really work, it did try to make the idea seem acceptable and the CG animation was very nice, plus it is a ton of fun to watch. While it's not really a good film, it is a very fun one.

Astroboy:
To be fair I've never read any of the original manga's and I've only seen small snippits of the anime, so I'm not very familiar with Astroboy. I originally was annoyed that they had to take a well made traditional animated character and modernize it with computer tech. But, it did look interesting so I took a look. And I was not disappointed. The story was solid, if a bit odd at times. The characters atre all around likable and they had solid voice actors, two of them being Nicholas Cage and Nathan Lane. Also, the CGI is very close to the opriginal anime and was very well animated, both definite pluses. I think the only real complaint I have were the villains. They didn't really intimidate me. One comes off as a type of dirty politician and another comes off as a digruntled umemployed scientist. Still, overall, it was a very fun enjoyable film. Besides, where else can you see a giant golden robot voiced by Samuel L. Jackson? I definitely recommend it.
